Assembly on Test anxiety and how to deal with it

Aims & Objective: To discuss symptoms and effective methods to overcome text anxiety
Exam time is considered to be a stressful time for every student. An assembly on exam anxiety was conducted by Ms. Ritushi, the Student Counsellor. The aim of this session was to not only help students overcome exam anxiety but to also learn how to plan their time effectively to maximize their learning. The following was covered in the session: time management, exercises to overcome exam stress, efficient planning, tips to learn and retain information, what to do when they go blank while writing an exam. Vadim, 11G spoke about the symptoms and causes and also shared his own experience about dealing with exam-stress. Furthermore, Ms. Ritushi discussed how sleep and study breaks are important for their health during exams.
Towards the end of the session, students shared various study tips that they have found helpful so that others could benefit from them too.
